On his head, he sports a wide-brimmed hat with a large ostrich feather that beautifully sways in the wind. A flintlock pistol is tucked into the holster on each side. On his left side hangs a slim rapier. Pelle Pistol is a bit of a clothes snob. Kalle Kanon is a big and well-built bulldog with a stern demeanor but a heart of gold.

Kalle Kanon has been the master of artillery at the same court as Pelle Pistol. They met there and have been friends through thick and thin ever since. Kalle Kanon is very strong and has won several wrestling championships.
